DEPARTMENT OF SURGICAL
GASTROENTEROLOGY AND MINIMALLY INVASIVE GI SURGERY
Gastroenterology is a super specialty branch, which
deals with complex gastrointestinal surgical
procedures. The Department is equipped with
technically advanced instruments and equipments for
complete care for all gastro intestinal and
colorectal disease. Procedures include hepatoliliary,
Pancreatic, Gastro esophageal, Colorectal and
surgeries for the small bowel, portal hypertension,
spleen and major GI trauma. Training for this is
available only in 5 centers in the
country.
