MIOT Centre for Spine Surgery was created to provide the most advanced diagnostics and treatments for patients with spinal disorders and injuries. The Department caters to all spine related ailments across all age groups. More than 800 surgeries are performed every year. The department specializes in complex spine surgery, including reconstructive tumour surgery using the latest techniques and innovations. Some of the most common problems that we treat include:

Led by an experienced Spinal surgeon, the Spine team includes neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine surgeon, neurologists, physiotherapists, neuroradiologists, anaesthesiologists, nurse practitioners and therapists. Backed by a state-of-the-art Radiology department, including the latest 64-slice CT Scan and 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology that identifies not only anatomy, but also vascular flow characteristics and spinal fluid dynamics, all spinal ailments can be accurately diagnosed. Additionally, internal medicine consultants are available to assist in pre and post-operative patient management and work closely with patient’s primary physicians.
