The Department of
Dermatology offers expert medical, surgical and cosmetic
care for disorders of the skin, hair and nails. The
Department of Dermatology at MIOT Hospitals is headed by Dr.
S. Sugandhan, Consultant Dermatologist & Cosmetologist, who
was Ex-Senior Registrar at the All India Institute of
Medical Sciences (A.I.I.M.S), New Delhi. He has also been a
Clinical Fellow at National Skin Centre, Singapore.

The Department is equipped with the state-of-the art "Light
Sheer" - Diode LASER system, Microdermabrasion unit and
Radiofrequency ablator to offer our patients the best in
Cosmetic and Dermatosurgery. We offer 'Follicular unit -
Hair transplantation', both Strip method and the advanced
'Stitch less' - Follicular unit extraction (FUE) method for
baldness. We are among the very few centres in India to
offer this advanced 'Stitch less', Follicular unit
extraction technique for Hair transplantation.
