The Department of Cardiology had been at the forefront of MIOT’s initiative to provide state-of-the-art therapy for patients with cardiovascular diseases. We have introduced a series of innovative management strategies to make cardiac care effective, efficient and comfortable for patients.

Day Case Procedures

The Department of Cardiology has introduced exclusive Radial Access Angiography and Coronary Intervention on a day care basis. Patients are typically admitted and discharged within a six hour period. This safe and tested strategy allows patients to recover in the comfort of their own homes. Radial access multi vessel stenting has also been introduced on a day care basis with excellent results.
